Kenwood

kMix Stand Mixer British Redesign

In 2015 Kenwood wanted to reclaim its title as a “very British Company.” The kitchen appliance manufacturer succeeded by gathering Brittan’s top designers to collaborate on a new stand mixer. Together the designers and Kenwood created six bespoke kMix stand mixers. These mixers were sold on eBay and the profits went to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Furthermore, Kenwood continues to innovate since 1947 to bring you the best cooking experience possible.

Developing the mixers style and ability included David Linley, founder of the British interior design company Linley. The team was also joined by Studio Conran, a Brittish ceramic tile company, and Stephe Webster, the founder of the fine British jewelry company. Zandra Rhodes, an English fashion designer who has worked with Princess Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise and been given honors for services to the British textile industry, also contributed to the kMix design. Lastly, the London creators behind the PPQ fashion brand, Amy Molyneaux, and Percy Parker, added value to the stand mixers.

kMix Stand Mixers by Model

kMix stand mixers were created for the ease of cooking. Most mixers contain a 5-liter mixing bowl, large enough to whip 12 egg whites and kneed 1.3 kg of bread. The mixers were created with use in mind. A speed control allows you to easily increase to high speeds without worrying about ingredients spilling over. A folding feature allows you to incorporate ingredients without losing your airy mixture.
